A MAN will appear at Reading Magistrate’s Court on Monday, August 1, charged in connection with the murder of a man at Reading Station.

Kirkpatrick Virgo, of Slough, is charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon, after a 24-year-old was murdered at Reading Station on Saturday, July 30.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court this morning.

Detectives continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it on the train to get in touch with British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 665 of 30/07/22.
