A MAN arrested in Caversham yesterday has been released without charge.
Thames Valley Police said they initially took the man into custody after a woman’s body was found in the water at the Thames and Kennet Marina.
Officers were called to the Henley Road site just after 10.30am on Saturday, April 1.
They launched an investigation into the circumstances of her death, and initially made the arrest but on Sunday, April 2, said no further aaction would be taken.
In a statement, an officer said: “We would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding while we investigate the circumstances.
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the woman who has died.”
