THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision left a motorcyclist hospitalised this morning (March 10).
At around 6am, a black and green Kawasaki motorcycle was involved in a collision on the eastbound entry slip road at J10, from the A329(M) at Winnersh.
The rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his fifties, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident but has now reopened.
Investigating officer PS Sarah Davies, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident which has left a man with serious injuries.
“I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward and ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.
“I would like to sincerely thank all road users in the area for their patience today whilst we completed our enquiries at the scene.”
