AHEAD of his Reading and Leeds Festival appearance, Scottish musician Lewis Capaldi is preparing for a very intimate performance.

Taking place on Tuesday, June 6, the star is to take part in a warm-up show that is open to Reading Festival ticket holders.

They have to apply to attend via ballot, with all profits going to charity.

The only snag is it’s taking place in The Wardrobe – a venue in Leeds.

Capaldi is headlining both venues, and his preview show comes hot on the heels of his recent album release, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent.

Support will be from Brighton-based alternative musician James Marriott.
