DINTON Pastures will be glowing in the dark this November as a charity that helps children across Wokingham borough will be hold a special fundraising event.
First Days Children’s Charity is organising a two-mile Glow Walk for Saturday, November 18.
The starlight walk around the lake and woodland will include jugglers, singers and illuminated Stand-up Paddleboarders to create a memorable environment, while there will be seasonal refreshments in the form of hot dogs, hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Glow sticks and light-up accessories can also be bought to ensure participants are colourful.
The event starts at 5pm, with last entry at 8pm.
First Days is operating a tiered pricing structure to enable as many people as possible can take part, choosing what they pay to enter.
This fits in with its ethos of giving choice and restoring dignity to families with a low income or experiencing financial hardship.
A spokesperson said: “This will be an event that will make memories to last a lifetime.”
