THEY’RE BACK … well, if the slipper fits, they’ll wear it.

Justin Fletcher and Paul Morse will reunite this Christmas for The Hexagon’s annual pantomime.

This year, the funnymen will be taking part in a new retelling of Cinderella, again written by the CBeebies megastar.

They have been a double act at The Hexagon for more than 10 years, bringing the house down with their hilarious routines, including messy slapstick, deft wordplay, fun songs and award-winning balloon ballet.

Justin has worked as an actor, children’s television presenter and voice over artist for the last 28 years. His children’s television credits include: Gigglequiz, Tikkabilla, Fun Song Factory, Higgledy House, Something Special, Springwatch, Gigglebiz, Jollywobbles, CBeebies presentation and Justin’s House.

He also also known to millions of children as Mr Tumble, a comical clown who specialises in sign language.

This year, Paul will celebrate his 20th year in a posh frock and high heels – and audiences will be delighted.

He won Best Dame 2015 and Best Dame 2016 in the UK Panto Fan Awards and was also nominated Best Dame in the British Pantomime Awards, also winning Panto Idol 2005 live on ITV Meridian.

Justin said: “I am so looking forward to sharing the magical story of Cinderella with the wonderful audiences of Reading.

“It’s going to be a very exciting year for the Hexagon panto, bigger than ever before, and I can’t wait to be working with Paul again and getting up to lots of panto fun and laughter on stage.”

And Paul added: “I absolutely love sharing my Christmases with the Reading audiences and I am already feeling excited to be back at the Hexagon this year appearing in Cinderella.

“We are going to quite literally have a ball. Nanny will see you there.”

The show will once again be produced for Reading Arts by Imagine Theatre, and the team are already hard at work preparing for all the panto magic.

Reading Borough Council’s lead councillor for arts and leisure, Cllr Adele Barnett-Ward said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Justin and Paul will be back again this year to bring their panto magic to Reading.

“Over the years they have become firm favourites with our audience and friends to us all. We can’t quite imagine Panto without them.

“After the record-breaking Sleeping Beauty, we are looking forward to inviting everyone to the ball this year, for what will be a spectacular family panto… with a few surprises.”

The show runs from Saturday, December 7, through to Sunday, January 5.

Tickets are already on sale and, as in previous years, there will be signed and relaxed performances to ensure everyone can enjoy the show. They cost from £16.50, with groups, school, and concession rates available on selected performances.
