RESIDENTS can get things fixed for free by expert menders.
Spencers Wood Repair Cafe has a team ready to give a new lease of life to broken household and garden items in an attempt to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
They will accept all sorts of items for repair, including broken china, toasters, and toys.
The group prides itself on a warm and friendly welcome with refreshments available from their cafe.
There is no charge for fixing, but the group gratefully accepts donations.
The repair cafe meets regularly on the third Sunday of each month.
The next event is at Lambs Lane Primary School, on Sunday, February 16.
Doors are normally open from 10am until 1pm, but this month the group will finish at 12.30pm to allow for PAT training for its volunteers.
