Blue Angel Care Reading, Newbury & Wokingham has won an award for being one of the Top 20 home care providers in South East England.

There are more than 1,800 home care providers in South East England, and close to 12,000 home care providers throughout the country.

The top 20 home care providers in South East England received the award from the leading reviews site for home care www.homecare.co.uk, which hosts the Top 20 awards to help people find care that is right for their needs, budget and location.

Blue Angel Care was recognised with two prestigious homecare.co.uk Top 20 awards in 2023.

Blue Angel Care in Reading also received the national Top 20 award for a large/mid-size home care group.

Nearly one million disabled and older people receive care at home so they can stay living independently in their own homes. This includes help with getting dressed, washed, preparing meals and drinks and administering medication.

With an ageing population, the number of people receiving home care is set to increase.

The award is based on the home care provider’s reviews from the people they care for, plus their friends and relatives.

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of homecare.co.uk, said: “Top quality home care is vital as it enables people to continue living in their own homes and to keep their independence.

“People who are less mobile due to illness, a disability or age can become hidden from society so their home care worker can play a crucial role in keeping them both mentally and physically well.

“Our reviews are by those who receive home care as well as their family and friends. This helps others to search for the right care provider, where compassion, trust and empathy are at the heart of their care.

“Blue Angel Care Reading has shown it provides care of the highest quality and we would like to congratulate it on being one of the top home care providers in South East England!”

Blue Angel Care founders Zul Mamon and Dariusz Motyka said: “This achievement is a testament to the dedication and passion of our exceptional care teams, who have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing clients for their trust and support. Their feedback inspires us to continuously strive for excellence and push ourselves further. Together, we are truly making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

“This incredible accomplishment belongs to every member of the Blue Angel Care team.”

Diana Szabo, registered manager of the Reading location, said “I am privileged to work alongside this team. We will not rest on our laurels; we will continue providing the best care for our clients and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
