A NEW orchard is to be planted in Whitley on Saturday, with the help of a Hollywood star.
Winston Ellis will visit South Whitley Recreation Ground for the launch of the Whitley Orchard planting day.
Organised by Freely Fruity, the aim is turn the area near the Lexington Grove entrance into a orchard with 50 trees, strawberries and more.
The event runs from 11am to 4pm, and Mr Ellis will visit around noon.
