FIRECREWS were called to extinguish a kitchen fire in a block of flats.
The incident took place on Sunday, April 2, at an address in Wensley Road.
The alarm was raised at 6.19pm, and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Aerial Ladder Platform.
Upon arrival, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus discovered and extinguished a small kitchen fire on the seventh floor of the building.
Crews were on the scene for around 25 minutes.
