READING FC manager Ruben Selles provided injury updates to his team ahead of their FA Cup tie with MK Dons.
The Royals currently sit bottom of League One in what has been a torrid time for the club both on and off the pitch.
Ruben Selles’ side will be hoping to find some form and confidence when they host the side in 12th position in League Two.
Reading will be without Amadou Mbengue who will serve the first of a three match suspension after being sent off after full-time against Portsmouth.
“He (Amadou Mbengue) will be banned in the cup, then the next two League One games,” said Selles.
“It was completely unfortunate and totally unnecessary to do that action.
“He knows he let us down for the coming games and we can’t tolerate this kind of behaviour in our team.”
The Royals are also without Tom McIntyre, who has a muscle injury, but are hoping to have Tom Holmes, Mamadi Camara and Sam Hutchinson back in contention.
Selles continued: “Sam Hutchinson had the game against Leyton Orient where he needed to go inside during the warm-up and then couldn’t participate. He’s had some rest and some injections to help him. He is fully available.
“Tom Holmes played with the under 21s in the week and he should be ready to play for us on Saturday.
“Tom McIntyre is still five weeks away until we can see if he is available.”
