A SAFER streets session will be held in Reading town centre later this month.
Organised by Thames Valley Police in conjunction with Reading Borough Council, the events are part of a plan to improve the night time economy.
The sessions will give people a chance to discuss crime and anti-social behaviour, how to have safer streets at night, how to encourage safe spaces for women and young people, and a look at possible enhanced CCTV coverage.
Two sessions will be held at Reading Borough Council’s offices in Bridge Street, on Monday, November 14.
The first runs from noon to 2.30pm, the second from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Entry is free, and people can drop-in to take part.
