THEALE Green School has congratulated its GCSE students as they collect their results today, Thursday, August 22.

The school reports that 60% of grades awarded were Grade 4 or above in English and Maths while Sports Studies saw 93% of grades given at Grade 5 or higher.

In French, 70% of grades were Grade 4 or higher, 63% in Biology, 62% in Physics, and 100% in Spanish.

The school also congratulated twin students Olivia and Isobel, who achieved Grades 5s and Grade 6s, who were one of three sets of twins collecting results today.

Headteacher at Theale Green School Charlotte Badarello said: “This incredible group of students thoroughly deserve the excellent results they have achieved today in spite of significant disruption during the key transition point of moving to secondary school.

“They have overcome many challenges along the way, but have been wonderful ambassadors for the school, and to younger students. We look forward to welcoming them in to our Sixth Form.”
