FIRE crews had to extinguish a blaze when they attended a road traffic collision on Saturday.
The incident happened at 5.51pm on February 3, in Milman Road.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service teams from Caversham Road and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene.
They discovered a small fire in an external gas outlet.
Firefighters used a carbon dioxide extinguisher to put out the blaze before using a gas monitor to check for leaks.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours and 14 minutes.
