READING FC WOMEN fought back from two goals down to capture a crucial point at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Finding themselves two goals down inside the opening 13 minutes after a brace from Veatriki Sarri, the Royals were fearing the worst as it appeared that their hopes o survival in the Women’s Super League were about to take a major hit.

A win for Brighton would have seen them rise above Reading into 10th position with two games in hand, but Reading turned the game around in the second-half to ensure they maintained their spot.
An inspired substitution from manager Kelly Chambers saw the team change shape as forward Emma Harries entered and made an immediate impact.
Just a minute after the restart Reading had a goal back when Harries latched onto a long ball and showed great composure to slot into the bottom corner.
The momentum had swung and the Royals went in search of a leveller which came with an hour on the clock.
Fantastic endeavour down the left wing from Lily Woodham ended with a pinpoint cross for Harries who nodded past the goalkeeeper to make it 2-2.
Both sides had chances in the last half an hour to try and snatch a winner, but the score remained at 2-2 with the points being shared.
The result means that both teams move a point further away from bottom of the table Leicester City who lost 5-0 to Aston Villa.
Next up for Reading is another huge relegation clash away at Leicester on Sunday.
