Jeff Hendrick’s first goal in Reading colours ensured that the Royals took a well earned point against Norwich City.

The Championship clash pitted second place against third heading into the match and it was the hosts who had several good chances throughout the first-half.
Andy Carroll saw his bullet header brilliantly saved by former Newcastle teammate Tim Krul, while Junior Hoilett caused numerous issues to Norwich’s defence throughout the half from right wing back.
But it was Norwich who opened the scoring five minutes after the restart when Grant Hanley fired in from a corner after a suspicision of handball in the build-up was not spotted by the officials.
Paul Ince’s men responded quickly when Jeff Hendrick found the net on the hour mark with a half volley.
