POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a robbery of a shop and an assult in Sonning Common.
At around 9.45pm on Thursday, September 4, four offenders entered BB Wine Store on Peppard Road in Sonning Common and assaulted a member of staff before stealing a quantity of cigarettes.
The victim received a cut to their hand but did not require hospital treatment.
The first offender is described as a man in his twenties, and was wearing a white t-shirt, black flip flops with a white sole, and a black balaclava.
The second offender is described as a man in his twenties wearing a grey hooded jacket, long-sleeved top, blue jeans, and white trainers.
The third offender is described as a man in his twenties, who was wearing a black coat with green Adidas trousers, black trainers with a white Nike tick, and a black face covering.
The fourth offender is described as a man in his twenties, wearing a beige shirt, beige cargo trousers, black trainers with white soles and a black balaclava.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Lewis Macauley said, “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this robbery or anyone who may have information that could assist our investigation to please get in touch.
