Former Reading FC player Junior Hoilett is available as a free agent having departed Aberdeen following a short spell.

The Canadian international spent two years with the Royals in the Championship.

Having spent time in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City, he joined the Royals on a free transfer in 2021 and made 27 Championship appearances, scoring three goals in the 2021/22 campaign.

He became a useful member of the squad, often playing at wing-back due to his vitality and played 34 times in the 2022/23 campaign as Reading were relegated from the Championship.

After a short spell in the MLS with Vancouver Whitecaps, Hoilett played 13 times for Aberdeen last season in the Scottish Premier League and netted twice.

After the expiration of his deal, the 34-year-old is now a free agent.
