Former Reading FC midfielder Liam Kelly will face off against his former side next campaign after winning promotion with Crawley Town.
Kelly starred in the League Two play-off final with a goal and an assist as Crawley defeated Crewe Alexandra.
Born in Basingstoke, Kelly started his youth career with the Royals in 2004 and rose up through the teams in the academy before making his first-team debut in August 2016 in the EFL Cup.
He made his Championship debut a couple of months later away at Rotherham United and went on to make a total of 94 appearances in all competitions for the Royals and netted nine times.
Having left the club in 2019, he made the move to sign for Dutch side Feyenoord but managed just two appearances in three years.
Kelly found his feet back in English football with a loan spell at Oxford United where he played 29 times in League One in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 campaigns.
He then spent two years with Rochdale Town where he scored six times in 63 league games before joining Crawley where he has become a vital part of their promotion winning side.
