Former Reading FC manager Ruben Selles has reunited with defender Tyler Bindon after signing him on loan for Sheffield United.

Bindon departed Reading and joined Premier League side Nottingham Forest having been purchased in January before returning to the Royals on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.

The 20-year-old centre-back impressed numerous clubs with his excellent performances throughout his two seasons in League One with Reading.

Despite his youth, he showed immense character and developed throughout his two years of playing senior football which led to his eventual transfer to Forest.

Selles, now manager of Sheffield United, has made Bindon his second summer signing since joining the Blades following his stint with Hull City before being sacked.

Selles gave Bindon his shot at senior football with Reading and prompted him to the first-team following his superb performances early on in the 2023/24 season in the EFL Trophy.
