Woodley United, under manager Jordan Blake, made sure of their survival in Division One of the Combined Counties League with an emphatic 5-0 win at Scours Lane on Tuesday night over Oxhey Jets. That victory lifted Woodley to fourth from bottom, and completed a near miracle of six wins from their final nine games.

The season goes on for Eversley & California, who made sure of a place in the division one play-offs with a 2-2 draw at Windsor. The Boars go into the play-offs having been undefeated in their final twelve league games.

Westwood Wanderers were crowned champions of the Thames Valley Premier League on Saturday afternoon. Their 4-1 win over AFC Winkfield combined with Finchampstead’s 3-0 win at second-placed Maidenhead Town meant the Tilehurst-based side cannot be caught with two league games remaining.

In the Premier Division of the Reading Sunday League, Burghfield maintained their title challenge with a last-gasp 2-1 victory over FC Bapco. Leaders Giveback, who were without a game, sit two points ahead, with a crunch match against second-placed Burghfield set for Coley Rec on Sunday morning.

The destiny of silverware in Bracknell Sunday League Premier Division looks set to go down to the wire, with the top three teams separated by just a single point. Bracknell Royals leapfrogged Bracknell Rangers to lead the division following Tuesday night’s 2-0 win at the Crem. The two teams will also face each other again in the Senior Cup final early next month.
