Combined Counties Football League Cup

A stoppage time winner from Harry Lee ensured that BERKS COUNTY got through in their cup tie away at EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA.

In a tightly contested match, the sides went in level at the break without the deadlock being broken.

The game took a turn when Eversley’s Will Neville was shown a red card in the 65th minute.

BINFIELD continued their exceptional form by making it seven wins from seven with their away triumph at Thatcham Town.

The Moles raced into a two goal lead going into the break with a strike from Johnny Efedje and a successful penalty from Liam Tack.

Binfield sealed the points in the second-half when Connor Holland put them three goals ahead before Liam Gavin rounded off the scoring to secure a 4-0 success.

The Moles sit in second place with 13 points from their opening five matches, just two points behind league leaders Northwood who have won all five of their games.

Allied Counties

WOKINGHAM & EMMBROOK continued their winning start to the campaign with victory over EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA.

The Sumas scored four without reply to take three points which puts them top of the table after two matches, while the Boars are yet to claim a point.

FA Youth Cup

ASCOT UNITED narrowly missed out after they lost 3-2 to Camberley Town.

Sam Whitehead and Alex Hall netted for Ascot.
