A CHILDREN’S charity is set to hold it’s first ever colour run next month.
First Days Children’s Charity is holding the family-friendly event on Sunday, April 24, at Prospect Park in Tilehurst.
Participants will run, walk, hop, crawl, or dance their way once or twice around a 2.5km course.
There will be four colour stations, where those who enter will be showered with coloured powder by volunteer “Colour Ninjas.” The powder used is food grade cornstarch aimed between shoulders and feet.
Wokingham’s Unholy Donuts and Reading’s Phantom Brewery will both be there with specially created colourful refreshments.
The event starts at 2pm, with t-shirt and number pick up from 1pm.
All profits from the event will help First Days Children’s Charity continue their work supporting children and families living in poverty within Berkshire.
