ROYAL Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) attended a road traffic collision on the M4 on Tuesday, March 8, in which two people were left trapped.
At around 5,48pm, RBFRS received a call reporting a collision involving three vehicles on the M4 Westbound between Junctions 10 and 11.
Crews from Wokingham Road, Ascot and Whitley Wood fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Heavy Rescue Unit from Theale Community Fire Station and one officer.
Crews found a road traffic collision involving three vehicles with two people trapped. Crews rescued the people from the vehicle and safely placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service, before making the scene safe.
Crews were on the scene for around an hour and 40 minutes.
