A HORSE trapped its leg in a trailer and fire crews had to be called out to release it.
The incident took place on Sunday, January 29, at 4.12pm, on Sulhamstead Road in Sulhamstead.
A team from Whitely Wood and another from Theale were called to scene, as was the animal rescue unit based at Caversham Road Fire Station.
They worked together to free the horse, who was then checked over by a vet.
The operation took around 47 minutes.
