FIRE crews were called to a fire in the open in West Reading last week.
Shortly after 6am on Friday, April 13, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue service received reports of a fire near Honey End Lane.
Emergency responders from RBFRS’ Wokingham Road station were sent to the scene, where they discovered a fire out in the open close to a car park on Honey End Lane.
Crews were on the scene for nearly an hour and a half, but extinguished the fire.
