AN exhibition currently on show in Reading Central Library offers a unique look at Reading and its people.
Faces of Reading features sketches and art by Andrey Novikov. Originally from Stavropol in Russia, he has won numerous awards for his work across the world.
Last year, he had a solo shows in Istanbul and Moscow, and has also previously exhibited in Berlin.
For this new show, he aims to capture the essence of Reading, its heritage and its modern aspirations. The pieces, he says, reflect the town’s diversity, energy, and cultural richness.
The exhibition continues until Monday, September 4, and is on show in the Holybrook Gallery on the second floor of the Kings Road building.
Entry is free, and it is on show during library opening hours.
