INDEPENDENT power producer Enviromena has been listed as one of the region’s most successful companies in the prestigious Thames Valley 250 Awards.
Enviromena, which is based in Reading, has been shortlisted for both the Climate & Sustainability and Fast Riser awards.
Winners are set to be announced on September 17 at a ceremony at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham.
Enviromena currently manages over 300MW of solar assets, with a further 3GW in construction and development.
Its portfolio continues to grow with a number of recent acquisitions including the fully consented 40MW Rock Farm and 30MW ‘Steeraway’ solar farm projects.
Enviromena’s CEO, Chris Marsh, said: “This is the first year we’ve earned a spot in the Thames Valley 250 and, along with our shortlisting in two award categories, it’s an achievement we’re very proud of.
“The hard work we’ve dedicated to delivering safe, reliable and affordable clean energy solutions has meant we’ve seen remarkable success–it’s a pleasure to see this recognised.”
The Thames Valley 250 Awards’ Jo Whittle said: “The awards are a chance to celebrate those privately-owned businesses rooted in the Thames Valley region who have seen outstanding success.
“I’m delighted to see Enviromena have earned a spot on the list this year and I wish them the very best of luck in September.”
