EMERGENCY services have announced that they have left the scene of a fire following an incident in Whitley Wood.

Members of Thames Valley Police and Royal berkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene of a fire in a residential property in Whitley Wood earlier today (Sunday, February 16).

After dealing with the incident Thames Valley Police has now confirmed that emergency services have left the scene.

Traffic measures had been put in place near to the address on Whitley Wood Road and some disruption to traffic may continue.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.

Thames Valley Police posted to social media to confirm: “Following a property fire at an address in Whitley Road Road, earlier today, officers have now left the scene.
