CHARACTERS from a wide range of franchises came together as universes collided with the return of Reading Comic Con.
Fans donned their best costumes to meet actors and performers from some of the biggest films and tv shows and celebrate beloved franchises.
Attendees were joined by special guests including Sophie Aldred, best known for playing Ace in Doctor Who, and Tessa Peake-Jones, who played Raquel in Only Fools and Horses, as well as Michael Carter, Femi Taylor, and Garrick Hagon.
Merchandise stalls were flanked by props and sets from franchises such as Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Barbie, and even a life-size vehicle from the Mario Kart series.
Sarah Dalton, a partner at Time Travel Toys, said that those on the stall at the event: “had an amazing day, thank you to everyone who stopped by.”
Following the conclusion of the two-day event last weekend, organisers set the date for the autumn event.
They also announced that actor, animator, and puppeteer Mike Quinn, best known for his portrayal of multiple characters in the Star Wars and Dark Crystal franchises, will make a guest appearance.
The next Reading Comic Con event is now due to take place on Sunday, November 4, at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre.
