MORE than 50 riders have already registered to take advantage of Early Bird discounts and to reserve their preferred start time on this year’s Three Counties Cycle Ride (3CCR).
And they have already donated over £100 to support the Thames Valley Air Ambulance team.
Riders can also raise money through sponsorship for their favourite charity.
“Most people go out on their bikes because they love it, and there’s nothing quite like getting out for a ride,” said Lucy Watherston from Cycling UK, long-time supporter of 3CCR.
“It’s good to know that cycling has incredible health benefits too.”
Riders can choose to take a 15, 34 or 52-mile ride through Berkshire countryside.
All three routes are all well-signed, with friendly marshals and drink stations on the longer routes, which dip into Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
All Under 18s ride for £1 whether they register now to reserve their preferred start time, or on the day.
Over 18s enrolling in February can enjoy a 20% Early Bird discount.
And those who sign up in March can benefit from a 10% discount off the on-line registration fee of £20.
On-the-day entry for Over 18s is £25.
Non-cycling friends, and family members volunteering as marshals, can also support their favourite charity.
All routes of the Three Counties Cycle Ride will begin and end at Garth Hill College, Bracknell, on Sunday, June 7.
