AN E-SCOOTER rider has been left with serious injuries in a hit and run incident in Reading yesterday.
It happened around 9am on Monday, July 24, at the junction of The Oracle roundabout where it meets the A33 IDR.
The e-scooter rider, a man in his fifties, was seriously injured, with a large cut to his head and serious concussion. He remains in hospital at this time.
The driver of the other vehicle, a black saloon style car, failed to stop and drove away.
Investigating officer, PC Benjamin Taylor, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are investigating this collision in which a man has been seriously injured.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or anyone who may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
