DREADING Slam Poetry is holding the final of its 2022 series of slam events.
Poets have worked their way up through the open mic heats to earn a sport at the grand final, which will be hosted by A.F. Harrold.
The winner will be crowned the Dreading Slam Champion for the next year, with the regular event returning in February.
The Dreading Grand Slam Poetry Final takes place at the Rising Sun Arts Centre on Sunday, January 8, from 7.30pm.
Entry is free, though members of the audience may be asked to give feedback as part of the judging process.
Dreading Slam will resume its regular competitions again on Sunday, February 5.
