A BOROUGH garden centre has announced the return of its late-night Christmas Shopping Night.

Visitors to Dobbies Garden Centre at Hare Hatch will be able to enjoy an opportunity to pick up gifts, fragrant tree displays, twinkling lights and eye-catching decorations until late in the evening one night this month.

The store will also be offering live Christmas music from local groups and plenty of jingle bells to accompany the event, and says that there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Visitors to the extravaganza can expect a free arrival drink, tasters, demo stations, discounts and offers valid during the event, money off vouchers, and a display of decorated Christmas trees unveiled by local community groups.

Ayesha Nickson, Dobbies’ events programme manager said: “Our annual Christmas Shopping Night is a fantastic way to get into the festive spirit, while contributing to a great cause.

“We have raised more than £1.39million for Teenage Cancer Trust since the start of our partnership.

“We’re excited to welcome local groups to take part in this year’s celebrations, including the unveiling of the specially decorated Christmas trees.

“You can also get your Christmas shopping off to a great start with special offers and gift ideas for all your family.”

Donna Bednarek, senior relationships manager for Teenage Cancer Trust, said: “We are incredibly grateful to Dobbies for their ongoing support and dedication to raising vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.

“Events like the Christmas Shopping Night help us to continue to provide life-changing care and support to young people with cancer across the UK.

“We’re thrilled to be part of such a magical evening, and it’s heartwarming to see the community come together to support our cause.”

People will also be able to book a festive two course dinner during the evening in the Dobbies restaurant.

The event takes place on Thursday, November 21, from 5pm until 9pm.

Tickets for the extended store hours opportunity cost £1, with ticket sales going to Teenage Cancer Trust.

All attendees will receive a £5 off a £25 spend and £10 off a £50 spend voucher on the night – terms and conditions apply.

The festive dinner must be booked in advance, and costs £17 per person.
