A READING dessert parlour will keep the summer party going as it introduces a new line of drinks.

Cream Cafe, Oxford Road, is set to launch its ice cream float and bubble tea range on August 29, which will complement its permanent roster of signature gelatos, shakes, sundaes and waffles.

Available to eat-in, grab-and-go or delivery, the desserts will take customers for a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Creams’ Ice Cream Floats, made in collaboration with Dalston’s Soda Company, come in both cherry and vanilla, and peach and strawberry offerings – finished with whipped cream, hundreds and thousands and a red cherry.

It will cost £4.95 to eat-in or takeaway, while delivery is £5.95.

The bubble tea range consists of ‘bursting’ tapioca pearls in fresh, fruity and flavourful drink combinations. The zingy Strawberry & Mango Bubble Slush offers a different proposition to the Mango & Lychee Bubble Shake, which features tropical mango sorbet, vanilla soft serve with mango and lychee bobas.

Those looking for a bit of everything will want to try the Cherry Bubble Float, which mixes Dalston’s Cherry Soda, tapioca pearls and vanilla gelato.

The bubble tea items start from £4.25.

All products will be available to deliver through Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat from August 29.
