PARENTS and carers are being invited to take part in an event which will help them teach their youngsters about maths through cooking.
Organised by WebEnrol and Wokingham Borough Council, the free workshop will take place at Shinfield Community Flat, Frensham Green, on Monday, July 17.
Being in the kitchen can help children who benefit from visual learning, and can help their maths skills ticking over during the summer holidays.
Due to space limitations, the course can only accommodate five learners so booking is essential.
The event runs from 1pm-2.30pm.
