SOUTH READING residents can have their say about plans for a new recreational facility.

Reading Borough Council would like to hear people’s thoughts on a skatepark at John Rabson Recreation Ground through a short online survey, which closes on November 22.

The feature would be located just east of the tennis courts, with concept designs available to view through Maverick SkateParks, who are working alongside the council on the design.

It will comprise of three main zones: The bowled mini-ramp, the split-level street area and routes around the skatepark, which can be used as independent areas when the park is busy.

The short questionnaire asks for basic information, such as age brackets, mode of transport used to get to the park, how often one would use it, riding experience and thoughts on the design.
