Reading Town Hall is once again hosting the Father Willis Heritage Open Day event this year
This year’s iteration will be “bigger and better” in celebration of the Royal College of Organists’ Play the Organ Year 2025.
The event will feature a full day of programming including an illustrated introductory talk, a lunchtime recital, and specialist talks from organ builder Bruce Buchanan, organ consultant Nicholas Thistlethwaite, and Managing Director of Harrison & Harrison Andrew Scott.
There will even be the chance for non-players to try their hand on the organ and a masterclass with organist Tom Bell.
The Reading Town Hall Father Willis Heritage Open Day takes place at Reading Concert Hall from 10.30am on Saturday, September 13.
