THE UNIVERSITY of Reading is set to see the return of its family festival next month.

The Community Festival combines live music, theatre, performance, street food, and a programme of hands-on activities such as outdoor games, sports taster sessions, and interactive workshops.

The event welcomes local artists and performers as well as lots community organisations and businesses.

It takes place across multiple indoor and outdoor venues, split into separate zones which are new for this year: Time, Earth, Bodies and Imagination

It also showcases some of the world-leading research currently taking place at the university with research talks and hands-on activities for both children and adults covering a range of topics, and the opportunity to engage with Reading’s top academics.
