A CHRISTMAS Eve event coming to Caversham will retell the nativity story.
Starting from The Fox and Hounds pub, a walking tour of the village will see different a section of the Nativity remembered at various stops along the way.
It will include the arrival of shepherds, the wise men, and Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem.
It will end at Gosbrook Road Methodist Church with more carols and seasonal refreshments.
People can come dressed as shepherds, sheep, or other characters from the nativity story.
The event is organised by Caversham Baptist Church, Caversham Methodist Church, and St John’s CofE Church.
It starts at 4pm on Sunday, December 24, and entry is free.
