Reading FC Under 21s were crowned as the Berks & Bucks Cup champions after they defeated Marlow on Wednesday night at the SB Stadium.

The Royals went in front after nine minutes when they capitalised on a poor clearance from the keeper which fell at the feet of Charlie Wellens, he played the ball to Jeremiah Okine-Peters who slotted past the keeper.

It didn’t take for long for Noel Hunt’s side to extend their lead when John Ryan was pushed down in the penalty box and the Royals were awarded a spot kick.

Adrian Akande stepped up from 12 yards and smashed the ball past the keeper you double Reading’s lead.
