ONE of the biggest events in Reading’s festival calendar has announced the first slew of names who will be taking to the stage this year.

Are You Listening? Festival has released the first batch of acts who will be performing when the festival returns in May.

Two-piece soul-infused punk outfit Big Special will be in attendance hot on the heels of their debut album release last year.

The festival will mark the one year anniversary of the album, Postindustrial Hometown Blues.

The event will see the headliners joined by Benefits, Coach Party, Honey Glaze, Joshua Idehen, Nathan Fake, and Man/Woman/Chainsaw.

Rounding out the line-up are Alien Chicks, CLT DRP, Doops, Human Interest, Means of Production, Paige Kennedy, SkunkWorm, The Dazed Minded, and Y.
