A READING sight loss charity has teamed up with Reading Football Club to promote their joint blind football program and raise funds.On Saturday, September 10, Berkshire Vision will be visiting The Oracle shopping centre to give members of the public an opportunity to try their blindfolded football dribbling challange.
The charity is joined by the Reading FC Community trust to promote their joint blind football partnership, which sees those with sight loss or visual impairment take part in football training sessions.
The program creates a safe environment for those with vision impairment to take part in football, and the fundraiser will offer the public a chance try the sport with blindfolds.Reading FC currently offers hour-long sessions on Friday nights from 6pm at the Indoor Training Dome, near the Select Car Leasing stadium.
Berkshire Vision and Reading FC Community Trust will be at The Oracle Riverside from 11am-3pm on Saturday, September 10.
