A local artist is inviting residents to attend an art and photography exhibition this weekend.
Taking place at St Luke’s Hall, Erlegh Road, RG1 5LH, local artist Leslee Barron will be selling cards, canvases and framed newtown posters.
Cards are available to buy for just £1 each, canvases are £25 and newtown posters will be available at reduced prices.
The exhibition will take place over both days this weekend. It will be open from 10-4pm on Saturday and 12pm-5pm on Sunday.
Leslee’s website says: “Love where you live? We do. This labour of love was created to celebrate our area in Reading, Newtown. Though not a New Town anymore, most houses are over 100 years old. This work features the streets, roads and some of the well-loved businesses in Newtown.”
