A FESTIVAL set to take place this spring has announced which acts will be taking to the stage for its warm-up show.
Are You Listening? has released the line-up for the pre-party event which accompanies the main festival each year.
The warm-up show at St Laurence Church is set to see headliners Sprints joined by Mandrake Handshake, and Yaang, along with Tracks & Grooves.
Sprints, hailing from Dublin, Ireland, bring garage-punk which marries existential angst and modern influences.
London’s Mandrake Handshake combine art-pop, krautrock, and flower-power for a kaleidoscopic and chaotic experience, while Yaang brings 80s-infused, new-wave-drenched post-punk.
Are You Listening? Festival returns to venues across Reading on Saturday, May 10, with headliners Big Special to be joined by Coach party, Benefits, Joshua Idehen, Nathan Fake, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Alien Chicks, CLT DRP, Doops, and Human Interest.
The festival brings live music to venues including Face Bar, Milk, The Purple Turtle, South Street Arts Centre, St Laurence Church, and the AYL Hub in Market Place.
The warm-up show takes place at St Laurence Church, Reading, on Friday, May 9.
