A RETROSPECTIVE application has been made for signs already installed on a pizza takeaway in Tilehurst.

Vesuvio Pizzeria has opened on the site of a formal Coral bookmakers on Norcot Road, and now wants permission from Reading Borough Council for the signs.

There are two front and side-mounted signs in the pizzeria’s black, green, red and white branding.

Earlier this year, the business owners won permission to serve food, drinks and alcohol until 11.30pm, with deliveries until 2am.

Retrospective conversion into a pizza restaurant – application reference 230179 – is currently undetermined.

The new application can be viewed on Reading Borough Council’s planning website, searching for 230742.
