FIREFIGHTERS were called to Smelly Alley in Reading town centre on Easter Sunday.
Lithium-ion batteries in a shop caught fire, and crews needed to tackle the blaze using a hose reel.
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service sent teams from Caversham Road, Wokingham Road, Whitley Wood and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene alongside an Incident Command Unit and an Officer.
They were called out at 5.29pm on Sunday, March 31, and were on scene for two hours and 22 minutes, and returned on Easter Monday to inspect the shop for damage.
