Southern Region Women’s Premier

ASCOT UNITED missed out on the chance to secure promotion after they were beaten for just the second time all season.

A 2-0 loss to Bournemouth Sports means that the race for the top will go down to the wire with Bournemuth just three points behind and with a game in hand.

WOODLEY UNITED put a point on the board with a goalless draw against Wycombe Wanderers.

The Kestrels are in fourth position on 22 points from 14 games and have two games left to play.

TILEHURST PANTHERS got their hands on a trophy with a 2-0 success over Wallingford & Crowmarsh.

Goals from Lydia Vettese sealed the game with a 2-0 win as Tilehurst won the cup.


Thames Valley Women’s Division 3S

League leaders FINCHAMPSTEAD suffered just their second league defeat of the season after a 1-0 loss to Harefield United.

Finch remain in pole position for the title and have a four point lead over Yateley who have a game in hand.

Finch have four games left to play, while Yateley have five.

AFC READING collected their fifth win of the campaign with a 4-2 away win at bottom side Barton Rovers.

CAVERSHAM AFC are in fourth after their 4-0 success over Taplow United.

YATELEY UNITED crashed out of the cup at the semi-final stages following a seven goal thriller with Easington Sports.

BERKS COUNTY stay in the title race after their 3-0 away win at BURGHFIELD RESERVES with a goal from Jess Brome-Mbaya and a brace from Kiah Owen.

ARBOFRIELD stay in 10th place after their 2-1 defeat to Stanford-in-The-Vale
