PLANS to replace a Caversham Heights home with new property have been rejected by Reading Borough Council.
A family living in the house on Consiboro Way had wanted to demolish the existing buildings and create an L-shaped home with state-of-the-art features.
The council’s planning department felt the proposals would constitute an overdevelopment of the site, cause overlooking issues, and that two of the rooms would have a lack of access to daylight.
As such, it was turned down.
