A burger chain has moved to a new location in Reading after its former site at a brewery closed down last December.
7Bone Burger Co is a medium-sized chain known for its burgers, wings, dirty fries, and more.
The company has been in Reading since 2017, previously occupying a large restaurant in the town centre.
But the company moved to Phantom Brewing in Meadow Road in October 2023.
7Bone is now relocating again after Phantom Brewing went into liquidation last year.
The burger chain will now set up a food truck at the Double-Barelled Brewery at Stadium Way Industrial Estate in Tilehurst.
A joint Facebook post by 7Bone and Double-Barelled states: “Exciting news incoming Reading folks!
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to find a new home and brewery partner in Reading.
“We’re super excited to share that 7bone is opening at the Double-Barelled Brewery Tap on Friday, February 27.
“We’ll be cookin’ up all your 7b fav’s in our brand new truck, Whitney.
“Head to the taproom to dine in from Thursday to Sunday every week for juicy burgers, great beer and good vibrations!”
The nearest proper restaurants for 7Bone are in Bridge Street, Newbury and at The Atrium in Camberley.
Phantom Brewing was hoping to relocate to an industrial building in Bridgewater Close, West Reading.
But the company went into liquidation in December 2025, leading to the closure of its brewery and taproom, 7Bone and the Echoes bar in Henley.
